To help protect you, our members, from increasing wire fraud scams, FAST may require additional documentation before processing an outgoing wire transfer.

If you are wiring funds to an account you own at another financial institution, you must provide documentation showing you are an owner of the receiving account.

Acceptable documentation may include:

• A current account statement
• An account ownership document from the receiving financial institution
• Other documentation acceptable to FAST Federal Credit Union

The documentation must clearly show:

• Your name as an account owner
• The receiving financial institution name
• The account number receiving the funds

These enhanced verification procedures help protect our members from fraudsters who attempt to redirect wire transfers to unauthorized accounts.
